Dear AlohaCare ‘Ohana, 

As we work together to improve the health and well-being of our community, we have a unique opportunity to extend that impact beyond our daily services. From now through December 10, 2024, AlohaCare is proud to launch our annual Aloha United Way Shape Our Future Workplace Giving Campaign. This is our chance to help shape a better future for our island communities by supporting three crucial initiatives: ALICE, 211, and the Safety Net. 

ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) represents hardworking individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet. These are our neighbors who are employed but live paycheck to paycheck, often unable to afford basic necessities like housing, food, and healthcare. Donations to ALICE provide resources that help these families achieve greater financial stability and work toward a more secure future. 

211 is a vital statewide helpline that connects individuals with resources they need—whether it's housing assistance, food support, healthcare services, or crisis counseling. By supporting 211, you're ensuring that more calls can be answered, providing essential help to those facing difficult challenges in their lives. 

The Safety Net program helps people in immediate crisis, offering urgent support to ensure that basic needs are met. Whether it's emergency shelter, food assistance, or critical health services, the Safety Net provides a lifeline to individuals and families who need immediate help during their toughest times. 

By donating to these initiatives, you’re directly helping to uplift members of our community who need it most. Together, we can make a lasting impact, ensuring that individuals and families across Hawai'i receive the support they need to thrive.
